You will choose a musician from a list and create a short story about the person's life and musical work. We will do this in class, step-by-step, so that you can learn how to make a really good product. Your story will be graded on:
An interesting start (something to grab your audience's attention early on)
Your choice of pictures and special effects - do they help the story?
Clear narration (your voice recording)
Varying the pace and tone to keep it interesting
Meaningful audio soundtrack (music should add to the story, not distract from it)
Use of correct grammar
Economy of length - not too short or too long, ideally from 3 - 5 minutes.

Digital = using electronic tools.
Story = has an interesting introduction, middle and ending.We will use the Photo Story software program which allows you to combine still images, music clips and narration to create a short video.
